CyBARsecurity meets ECSC

Bochum is renowned for its outstanding cybersecurity research, with leading institutions such as Ruhr University Bochum and its Cluster of Excellence CASA, as well as the Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy (MPI-SP). At our regular CyBARsecurity events, researchers share insights into their latest work in a relaxed bar atmosphere, making cybersecurity research accessible and creating opportunities for informal exchange. On October 12, CyBARsecurity is hosting a special edition as part of the European Cybersecurity Challenge in Bochum. For this special occasion, our software security experts Prof. Thorsten Holz (System Security/Scientific Director of the Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy), Prof. Flavio Toffalini (Automated Security Analysis/RUB), and Prof. Kevin Borgolte (Software Security/RUB) will present their latest research findings at Zum Kuhhirten bar in Bochum. Join us for exciting talks, interesting discussions, and a chance to connect with researchers and cybersecurity enthusiasts in a friendly, informal setting.
